Natural Ways to Whiten Teeth at Home

How to use home remedies to whiten teeth at home? Teeth whitening whiter teeth, in the same path as thick, shiny, hair, is something that numerous people in our cosmetically driven world desire today. In fact, Americans spend over $1.4 billion dollars in over-the-counter teeth whitening products every year-that’s a good bit of money just to achieve a different dimness of teeth. I’ll be the one who has initiated to admit that I’ve taken a trial of OTC teeth whitener-I even paid to have my dentist do it for the first time. It showed result for a bit, but my teeth became so sensitive I couldn’t stand it. I also sensed the feeling that I really didn’t need to be so gripped with the color of my teeth that I paid a bunch of money for a bunch of who-knows-what that made my teeth hurt, so I took an initiative to put myself into some natural remedies. When I have had patience, I think you can naturally restore whiteness of your teeth. Most probably that doesn’t turn out to be chilling sear-out-somebodies-corneas –when-you –smile white, but they’ll seem more like you took good mind of your pretty silvery whites rather than just bleaching them like there’s no tomorrow.

Why do teeth get yellow?

To evaluate how to whiten our teeth, there is a need to get the reason as why get yellow in the first place. There are many reasons that can be stated here as the factors that play a firm role in the same, including genetics, what sort of food and drink you consume, and how well you practice oral cleanliness. A tooth is made up of 4 tissues-enamel, which is the durable white wrapping that protects the tooth, dentin, which supports the enamel and is a hard yellow material that contains pulp, nerves which is at the center of the tooth and contains blood, and cementum as well as lymph vessels, which covers the root of the tooth.

The enamel and dentin is what plays the biggest part in color. Certain food and drinks will directly stain the enamel, yes, but with the passage of time it has come to light that there main two culprits and those   are the nasty food and drink that actually break down the enamel, and debilitating enamel as we age. As the enamel gets broken into pieces, it gives rise to the yellow dentin underneath. These alternatives will put emphasize on whitening teeth that have effectively lost some white enamel, but it is also good to keep in mind that doing things to strengthen enamel is just as important so you can keep it from breaking down further. A little prevention is always said to be more than a cure (or whitening!)

How to Use Home Remedies to Whiten Teeth at Home Naturally?

1.) Baking Soda and Lemon Juice Paste to Whiten Teeth at Home

Baking Soda isn’t a shocker here. Sodium bicarbonate (its authority name) is gently abrasive; gently scrubbing away surface stains to return teeth to a whiter shade. It’s also very basic (the opposite of acidic) so I would think in case you have a very acidic mouth or eat a lot of acidic food, it could safeguard offset the pH, which would be useful as acid breaks down enamel-this is strictly speculation on my part. It will also lessen the acidity of the lemon juice, which acts as a natural blur of sorts. I use a mixture of baking soda and water on some days, and you can also bring to the usage the lemon juice , as I don’t want to ruin it.

Things You Need:

  • Several teaspoons of baking soda
  • Enough lemon juice or water to structure a paste
  • A toothbrush

Directions to Use:

Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a mixture. Wipe any extra saliva off your teeth using a paper towel. Now rub a great deal of the same mixture onto your toothbrush and apply. Now you are waiting for al least 1 minute, then rinse, in order to prevent  the acid effecting enamel. On the contrary,  If water is just being used, then you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes.

2.) Strawberry, Salt and Baking Soda Scrub to Whiten Teeth at Home

Strawberries are high in Vitamin C, which can help to prevent plaque that is causing your teeth to look yellow. It also has a compound called malic acid, which may provide aid to remove surface stains. The baking soda is an extra touch that you can choose to leave out on the off chance that you’d prefer (I just like to add it to anything including my teeth.)

Things You Need:

  • 1-3 extensive strawberries
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda (optional)

Directions to Use:

Mash the berries into a pulp, and add a pinch of sea salt and ½ teaspoon of baking soda, in case you’re using it. Wipe any extra saliva off your teeth with a paper towel, and afterwards apply a generous portion of the mixture to a toothbrush and apply. Now you are to wait for 5 minutes, then rinse. Do this at the night time as well.

3.) Coconut Oil Rinse to Whiten Teeth at Home

I know this sounds absolutely distraught (I thought it was insane too when I first perused about it) but rinsing your mouth with coconut oil (called ‘oil pulling’) is a novel, old, cure that people swear by to help whiten teeth. This doesn’t seem to be the best pleasant thing in the world, but I certainly don’t mind the taste, and I think it does have any sort of effect on the color of your teeth. It won’t have any sort of effect by “bleaching” for every say, but the lauric acid in coconut oil can free your teeth of bacteria found in plaque that can make them yellow. It is also supposed to encourage gum health, and help keep your breath refreshing.

Things You Need:

  • About a tablespoon of coconut oil

Directions to Use:

In the morning, before you brush your teeth, (contingent upon the size of your mouth) of coconut oil. You can either make it softer, or just put it in your mouth (I usually do the latter, and just let it soften.) Swish, push, and “power” the oil through and around your teeth for 10-15 minutes, then dribble it out,  brush your teeth and rinse with water,.

Note: You can use either of the pastes after you have brushed your teeth at night in case you prefer.

Are these remedies going to guarantee ridiculously white teeth within a week? No. You may start feeling a variance, but it won’t be as instant as the business products. At last, will your teeth be so white people squint when you open your mouth? No. What’s more I like it better that way. I’ve observed that since using these my teeth are beyond any doubt whiter, my mouth overall feels healthier and it doesn’t look like I blurred the life out of myself. As a result, we seem to forget what’s good for ourselves, and spend a ton of money just to look like the perfect. By going natural here, you can save the money for something else, have a healthier mouth and feel better about yourself, (and health is what, at least, creates real beauty.)

Other Useful Tips to Whiten Teeth at Home:

  • While not “natural” for every say, using 3% (I repeat, 3%) hydrogen peroxide as a mouth rinse can whiten your teeth through the process of oxidation. It is an active indigent in numerous OTC whitening kits, but is most of the times witnessed in much higher (and expensive) combinations in them.
  • It’s truly standard knowledge, and difficult in today’s world, but try to avoid faint drinks, such as coke and espresso that stain your teeth.
