As soon as you come in the contact of the poison ivy plant, rinse your skin before the rash starts appear.Wash it thoroughly with cold water. To prevent the rash from spreading apply rubbing alcohol. 10.) Tea Tree Oil to Cure Poison Ivy Rash

Tea tree oil is an effective remedy for poison ivy rash. It will deal with the symptoms of the rash that are itching and swelling. The oil is too strong so do not apply it directly on the skin. Mix a few drops of water to it, then apply it. It works as a painkiller, therefore, it will treat the pain and promote the healing process.
